About The Inn
The Barnacle Inn Nantucket
Built in the late 1920’s by Island tradesmen, The Barnacle Inn was designed as a summer inn and has been in business for more than 85 consecutive summers.
For over 50 years, The Inn has been owned by the Kiendl family. In that time they have gained a gracious reputation from islanders and visitors alike.

All of the rooms bear the names of whaling vessels that sailed from Nantucket over a century ago.

What Our Guests Say
Lovely inn with nautical touches and a lovely host! The breakfast was amazing, the rooms were clean, and and the hospitality meant a lot to my Mom and I. We are so glad we chose to stay here and recommend having breakfast on the patio each morning.

I can't say enough good things about the Barnacle Inn. I planned a getaway trip for the end of Sept, just the two of us without our young toddlers, for my husband's 40th birthday and stayed here Monday through Friday. We had SUCH an amazing time, all thanks to our wonderful hosts and the great B+B itself!
